About Us

A community savings idea that became a food business

Lady B's Food Contribution began with a small group of women who agreed to save together so that no one would be caught empty-handed at Christmas.

Our Story

Built around one simple promise

In 2018, Mrs. Azumara Betsy gathered a handful of women in her neighbourhood who were tired of scrambling for money every December. They agreed to contribute a small sum each month, and in December she used the pooled funds to buy rice, oil and chicken in bulk at market prices no single household could get alone.

Word spread quickly. What started as fourteen women is now a structured scheme serving over a thousand members across Effurun, Okuokoko and Agbarho, with four package tiers, verified payment records and organised distribution centres.

The promise has never changed: pay a little at a time through the year, and walk away with a full food package when it matters most.
